This year, 2014, celebrates 61 years of the Hope Diner being a part of the Christensen family. My grandparents, Carl and Lillian, and their children, moved to Hope in the early 1950's from Long Island. In 1953 they opened what was originally called "Stop 30" changing the name to the Hope Diner in 1959. 1971 saw a new generation in the running of the restaurant, my parents, Marty and Helen. Since that opening day in 1953 we have been blessed to have several generations of friends and families come through our door.

Thank you for being a part of our family.
